Info: About Cesar
Cesar Laure grew up in Orange County, California and began his photojournalism journey with the Orange County Register soon after graduating with a degree in photojournalism and business from California State University of Fullerton.
There after, he moved East and was a staff photographer for The Morning Call in Allentown, Pennsylvania for 12 years and, among other assignments, covered stories about coping with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease), the Cue Creek Mine Rescue, the aftermath of 9/11 in New York City and Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans.
While photographing the evacuation of residents at New Orleans Airport, he met and adopted a rescued puppy named Louis (after the New Orleans jazz musician Louis Armstrong).
Cesar's photographs have been published by newspapers such as The Los Angeles Times, The Chicago Tribune, The Philadelphia Inquirer, The Philadelphia Daily News, The New York Times, USA Today and others.
Currently, Cesar is a freelance photographer running a small studio from his farmhouse just outside of Philadelphia. He is available for local, national and international assignments.
